"Seesummerwavesincircles" is an album of outtakes from the 'solo' era. The title comes from an EP I once put together, featuring the songs "I'll See You Tonight", "Summer Song", "Hide The Waves", and "Eyes In Circles". See what I did there? The first three songs ended up on "Morning Light", and "Eyes In Circles" opens this album. A strange little track, but I dig it.
Elsewhere, the songs range from really old stuff like "Not A Second Time" from the "Free Spirit" sessions, to relatively newish stuff like "Take A Look Around" (the Texas Galaxy song that never was). "Absorb" is probably the most insane and demanding recording I did, with about 10 different guitar parts and effects thrown into the mix. Worth hearing, from the "Painted In The Sky" sessions. I very nearly included it on that album but decided it was just a little too out there.
On the softer side, there's a country ballad in the shape of "There's a Place In My Heart For You", and an electric version of "Sing Rain" that I sometimes prefer to the acoustic version. "All Around The World" is not the Oasis song, but was written back in 1995 when they were talking about a song with that title, so I decided to write my own one.
