I used to be in a rock band called Texas Galaxy between 2003 – 2007, and before that I was a 'solo artist', playing more acoustic based music. I first set up a home recording studio in 1999 and began to record and produce music, which I've been doing nearly every day since.
I used to be like everyone else trying to break into the music business, doing demos, playing gigs, trying to 'get signed'. But finally I had enough and life got in the way. So I decided that I would put everything up on this website, not to make money as it is all free, but just to get it out there. If people want to hear it, its there for them.
This website contains all the albums I made over the years, which I have broken up into different areas; the main Albums being the Robert Crosbie / Texas Galaxy ones. I have also recorded lots of music under different guises, like Geisha and Waterfall, and these are to be found in the Projects section. Finally I compiled a lot of my "outtakes" and one-off songs and put them in the Compilations section.
Since launching the site in June 2008, not only have I compiled all my previous albums, but this site will also feature all the new music that I record. I'll use this site as a way of "releasing" my new albums, free of charge of course. I am always working on new albums and songs and will put them up as they are completed. I'm also now focusing my energy on a new band, The Riot Tapes, who I joined in September 2010. You can check us out here.
